You stay in control

Access through Spark's hosted MCP server is always read-only. MCP-compatible AIs can analyze the information you approve, but they cannot use the connection to change orders, products, employee records, settings, or anything else in Clover or Square.

Access is limited at two levels: MCP must be enabled for the individual user, and that user can see only the business locations they are already permitted to access in Spark. Access can be changed or removed for a user at any time.

How it works

  2. Add Spark's hosted MCP server to an MCP-compatible AI. Follow the verified instructions for Claude, ChatGPT, Grok or other AIs.
  3. Sign in securely. Spark checks that MCP is enabled for you and applies your location access.
