For example, running payroll could be automated by asking the AI to retrieve timesheets from one system, credit card tips from Spark IQ, and cash tips from a spreadsheet. This type of automation can save huge amounts of time, and Spark IQ provides much of the critical data needed to do this.

You control who can see each location
Spark can analyze one Clover account at a time or compare the accounts and locations a user is authorized to see. It can also combine multiple Clover connections that represent a single business location, so hardware or merchant-account changes do not have to fragment the analysis.
MCP must be enabled for each individual user. Spark checks that permission and the user's approved locations on every request. Every tool is read-only, so Claude, ChatGPT, Grok or another MCP-compatible AI never receives authority to modify Clover.
What makes the data analysis-ready?
Clover reports remain the authoritative accounting record. Spark adds a performance layer designed for operating decisions: consistent metrics, product and category comparisons, price-change analysis, long-term trends, heatmaps, goals, and outside context.

Independent community projects may provide Clover access through MCP, but they are not Clover products.
